Adult Services - TB Nursing ServiceOur team works with people who may have tuberculosis (TB) or who need screening. Our TB specialist nurses visit people receiving TB treatment in their homes, and we give support them and their families.
We offer advice and information to doctors, other health care professionals and the public.
We can arrange the screening of people who have had contact with TB. Contact our team if you are worried about TB exposure or if you would like more information.
The vaccination for TB, known as the BCG vaccination, is given to children by their health visitor. There are criteria that must be met before this can be given. Please contact your child’s health visitor if you think they need a BCG vaccination.
