    Our 28-bedded inpatient ward is located at Danetre Hospital. We provide physical rehabilitation for patients following an acute illness or a deterioration of a long-term conditions which need community hospital inpatient level treatment and support. Some of our beds are allocated specifically for palliative care. The ward has both male and female beds.

    Hazelwood Ward is a 32-bedded in-patient ward on the Isebrook Hospital site. We provide physical rehabilitation for adult patients following an acute illness or a deterioration of a long-term condition that needs community hospital inpatient level treatment and support. The ward has both male and female beds.

  4. Adult Inpatient Low Secure

    Adult Mental Health and Speciality Services - Adult Inpatient Low Secure

    The Wheatfield Unit at Berrywood Hospital provides low secure mental health in-patient care for patients who have been detained under the Mental Health Act and stepped-down from a medium secure unit who may have previously posed a serious risk to public safety. Some are subject to Home Office restrictions. Patients have forensic histories or offending behaviour.

  5. Adult Inpatient PICU

    Adult Mental Health and Speciality Services - Adult Inpatient PICU

    Some patients with mental health problems are acutely unwell and need intensive treatment and support as an inpatient. We provide this can in our psychiatric intensive care units (PICUs), Marina Ward based at Berrywood Hospital and our female only unit Shearwater PICU based at the Welland Centre. The units provide a stable environment for recovery.

    Our inpatient specialist site is based at Berrywood Hospital in the Meadowbank unit which provides assistance for patients in the recovery process from a particular mental health problem. This recovery process may involve rebuilding/providing skills in everyday living to ensure any future admissions are kept to a minimum.
