Supporting women across Northamptonshire this Maternal Mental Health week

20% of women will experience a mental health condition during pregnancy and up to a year after having a baby. Of those, 70% will hide or underplay how they’re feeling. This is why it is so important to talk about perinatal and maternal mental health and raise awareness of vital support services here to support women and their families across Northamptonshire.

One year on: a review of the progress at HMP Peterborough in the recovery team

Since joining the trust on 1 April 2021, so much has changed for me. I started my journey with NHFT as a TUPE (Transfer of Undertakings (Protection of Employment) Regulations (TUPE) ) member of staff, moving over from another organisation. I moved over to NHFT as a Recovery co-ordinator at HMP Peterborough, which I had been for the past five and half years. Moving over to the trust and becoming a part of the NHS evoked several changes to become accustomed to, but after a short while, myself and the team openly embraced these.
