NHFT to provide Custody Healthcare
Northamptonshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust are pleased to announce they have been awarded the latest contract to continue to provide police custody healthcare across Northamptonshire.
This sees the Trust continue to deliver the service for up to the next five years at Kettering and Northampton Police Custody Suites.
David Williams, Director of Business Development said: “I’m delighted that we have been awarded the contract to continue providing this service, it is clearly a testament to the quality of care we have been delivering already at these sites.
“A real strength of our bid was that we could demonstrate that as the local provider we could connect patients back into community services.
“Some individuals can be caught in a revolving door of low level mental illness and offending and we are well positioned to provide high quality care and referrals to help break the revolving door cycle of mental illness and crime.”
