NHFT are celebrating today after being announced as winners at the HSJ, Patient Safety Awards last night in Manchester.

The Trust has enjoyed a fabulous week of celebration to mark the 70^th birthday of the NHS with plenty of birthday cake!

Representatives of the Trust travelled to a service at Westminster Abbey and our Chief Executive Angela Hillery attended a reception with the Prime Minister at 10 Downing Street.

On Thursday 7 July, the NHS celebrates 70 years.
