A fantastic accolade for our Together Against Racism programme of work

Crisis support worker, Patsy Mckenzie-Wright, who works for NHFT, has received a ‘Rose of Northamptonshire’ award in recognition of her tireless work supporting communities and marginalised people.

Local healthcare trust, NHFT, has been recognised for its “incredible work” to support nurses and midwives recruited from overseas, despite only recruiting internationally for just two years.

A father-daughter duo, who have been named team winners at a national awards celebrating the unsung heroes of the NHS, say they are “proud” to be honoured.

“Absolutely delighted” is how healthcare staff have described being nationally recognised for their outstanding work with volunteers to provide care across the county.
