World Mental Health Day 2022 - Prioritising your mental health and wellbeing

Feeling low can interfere with our lives, making it hard to think clearly or work, relax, study or sleep. Many of us will know when we’re upset but we may be unsure what we are feeling. Is it sadness, fear, loneliness, anger or something else? We don’t always know why we feel the way we do.
World Mental Health Day (10 October) is an opportunity to get people talking about mental health, how to look after our own mental health, and how important it is to talk about things and get help if you are struggling.
Many of us bottle things up and ignore our feelings. It can take a lot of courage to tell someone else how we’re feeling or if we are struggling. Many people experience mental health difficulties at some point in their lives. Just talking things through with a person we trust can help.
