NHFT Wins Staff Engagement Award at Prestigious National Awards Ceremony

Representatives from NHFT attended the Health Service Journal Awards on 6th November where we were shortlisted in three categories:
Patient Safety Award– for our ongoing work on improving safety culture across the Trust.
Staff Engagement Award – for our Let’s Talk plan which brings together Trust- wide initiatives including our relaunched wellbeing strategy and festivals, and work on Equality, Diversity and Inclusion.
Freedom to Speak Up Organisation of the Year – for our ongoing work on highlighting and embedding Freedom to Speak Up in the Trust, including our network of FTSU Champions.
We were absolutely delighted to find out that not only was NHFT Highly Commended in the Freedom to Speak Up category, the Trust won the Staff Engagement Award!
This caps off an absolutely brilliant few months where various elements of our staff engagement work has been recognised at national and prestigious awards including the Nursing Times Workforce Awards, Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development Awards, and now the HSJ.
