Senior Dental Officer appointed to national role with the Health and Justice Service
Sunita Moodley, Senior Dental Officer at NHFT will be joining the Health and Justice Service in October two days per month as Health and Justice Dental Advisor. In this role she will oversee the equitable delivery of dental services across all secure estates for dental teams and to this vulnerable cohort of patients.
Sunita joined NHFT in 2015, and within her current role focuses on Paediatric Dentistry and secure settings across Community Dental services and at Rainsbrook STC.
Alongside her current role, Sunita will join NHS England to provide advice and support on the delivery of dental services for young people in secured services across England.
Sunita Moodley, said: “I have gained invaluable experience and knowledge during my five years at NHFT, and I am looking forward to working with NHS England colleagues to develop how dentistry services are provided in secured services. I am passionate about working with service users to meet their needs, and this role provides me with an opportunity to not only make a difference, but learn from young people across the country to shape the future of our services.”
