Hear from our service users about the difference we're making

At team NHFT it is our mission to make a difference for you, with you. Nothing is more important to us than the voices of those who access our services, and through IWantGreatCare we can listen and respond to your experiences.

Through the feedback our service users, patients, carers, and their families give, we continue to evolve our services to helps us to achieve our vision of being an outstanding provider of care.

Working with our teams we are creating a “you said, we did” structure and we hope that our patients, service users and the carers and families that support them, will be able to see and feel the tangible difference that they have helped to shape.

We wanted to share with you the latest data we’ve received which covers December 2021 including some of the reviews we are most proud of.

Over this period, we’ve had:

  • 849 reviews
  • 4.8/5 stars on average for our responses
  • 92.1% of people had a positive experience with us

From our adult services:

Community beds: "The service was very good because so many members of staff supported, cared and advised at every level on a continuous basis."

Specialist Palliative care: "Cransley nurses made family feel at ease by being able to see mum on her last few days. The support that was shown towards mum was so lovely as her stay at Cransley was very quick."

From our children services:

0-19 Immunisation team: "Great service, nurse was extremely friendly and asked my daughter the questions: name, DOB etc which was nice. Gave my daughter confidence and was just a very pleasant experience. The nurse explained what she was going to do and how she was going to administer the vaccination. When she completed it, she gave my daughter praise and a sticker which my daughter was very grateful for."

Infant feeding team: "A personable, person-centred service that helped me overcome some major issues I have faced with feeding my daughter that enabled me to continue to feed and nourish my baby safely and effectively."

From our mental health services:

rTMS service: "Such a lovely team who all want the best for you and give their best from greeting at reception throughout treatment on leaving. Could not ask for anything better."

Community Mental Health Teams: "The staff are very amicable, polite and helpful, the service is very thorough in preventing nervous breakdowns and the full health checks leave me feeling very confident about my physical health."
