Join the NHS and start your career journey

NHFT staff Nina and Leonie

Are you, or someone you know, thinking about a career in the NHS?

Maybe a member of your family has recently left school and is looking to start out in employment; or maybe you are looking for a new role in healthcare?

If so, Northamptonshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust (NHFT) is hosting a free 'Careers in the NHS' webinar, in partnership with the University of Northampton, with tips on joining the 1.5 million-strong NHS workforce across the UK.

The event takes place online on Wednesday 2 October 2024, from 5pm to 6.30pm.

A similar session proved popular when it was held last year.

Participants will get to hear about the various jobs and apprenticeships, including roles in finance, human resources, administration or nursing, as well as hear from NHFT staff who have been successful on the journey and who are now working in various roles within the Trust.

Book your place here at www.nhft.nhs.uk/membership or complete this online form.

The Trust hosts a number of webinars focusing on a variety of topics. Forthcoming sessions include a webinar on Monday 11 November 2024 from 5pm, to hear more about the Trust’s recently-launched iDiscover resource for children, young people and those who support them. There will also be an NHFT Strategy webinar on Wednesday 29 January 2025 from 2pm, to find out more about NHFT's future plans, priorities and challenges.

The public can also book to attend NHFT’s Annual Public and Members Meeting and Annual General Meeting of the Council of Governors, taking place on Monday 23 September 2024, from 5.30pm-7.15pm, which will provide an opportunity for people across Northamptonshire to hear about NHFT's news and successes over the past year, as well as some of the exciting plans and priorities for the future.

Book your place at any of these events at www.nhft.nhs.uk/membership or complete this online form.
