I need information on NHFT services and visiting restrictions

Together with the rest of the NHS, Northamptonshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is working hard to respond to and prepare for the changing coronavirus (Covid-19) situation.

To reduce the spread of infection, we are not allowing visitors into our hospitals at this time. There are some exceptions to this – such as if a patient is receiving end of life care, or if the patient is a child on the combined Burrows/Sett ward. If this is the case, please get in touch with staff on the relevant ward for more information.

We are also making changes to the way our services work. Some services and appointments will go ahead via telephone or videoconferencing technology if available. Some appointments will be cancelled. If you have an appointment coming up, the service will be in touch with you individually to explain what the arrangements are. We will provide a full list of services that are changing how they deliver care in due course.

Reduced services managing urgent queries only include:

  • Gender Identity Clinic (GIC)
  • Memory Assessment Service (MAS)

Services that are pausing until further notice:

  • 1 Willow Close
  • The Sett
  • School-aged immunisation service
  • Podiatric surgery
  • Diabetic retinal eye screening
