Adult Services - Specialist Nursing - Tissue ViabilityWe are a specialist nursing service for wounds that are taking a long time to heal. This includes surgical wounds, leg ulcers or pressure ulcers. We carry out assessments and identify any problems that may be delaying wounds healing.
Our team of nurses have specialist knowledge, skills and experience in wound care and tissue viability.
Tissue viability assessments can be made in a number of locations. This could be your own home or at a care home, clinic, GP surgery, community inpatient unit, prison or hospice. We may also offer telephone advice.
Who is this service for? Anyone who has problems with wound healing.
