Crisis Response UnitThis Crisis Response Unit (CRU) operates 24hrs a day, 7 days a week. Initially the service will run with one vehicle and crew operating 24hrs a day. A second vehicle will be introduced which will operate between the hours of 11am to 3am, 7 days a week. The CRU will aim to arrive within one hour of receiving a referral call.
The CRU will be staffed by qualified mental health professionals and support worker, with access to carer peer support workers as required.

Anyone over 17 years and 6 months old who is experiencing mental health crisis in the community.

The service operates through referrals from other medical professionals.

- A Service Manager overseeing the operational development and mobilisation of the service
- Senior Clinician
- Support Workers
- Peer Support Workers
- Co-ordinator
- Lived Experience Lead
